BOTTLE MAN
I lived in a ship in a bottle on the wall
I lived in a ship in a bottle on the wall
I lived in a ship in a bottle on the wall
I lived in a ship in a bottle on the wall
I went to arrest the wizard but he touched his magic ring
The room disappeared and I'm standing on the deck of the mighty River Queen
She's a sailing ship in a bottle, no water anywhere in sight
Just light and shadows and a sky of glass and a cork that's on too tight
She's perfect in every detail from her hull of wood to the sails
And tall tall masts and lots of food and books of pirate tales
She was my home for a hundred years but I never aged a day
I read and I wrote and I sang the songs to keep from going insane
I lived in a ship in a bottle on the wall
A thief did one day come calling when the wizard wasn't home
But the wizard returned and he's talking to himself unaware he's not alone
The thief behind the door was hiding and he raised the bottle high
He brought it down on the wizard's head and that's how the wizard died
The mighty ship went a-crashing down to the bottom of the floor
There's broken glass and splintered wood, the thief ran out the door
From the wreck I crawled to the magic ring and I touched it with a prayer
Now I'm on my ship on the high high seas and I travel everywhere
I lived in a ship in a bottle on the wall
I lived in a ship in a bottle on the wall
I lived in a ship in a bottle on the wall
I lived in a ship in a bottle on the wall
I lived in a ship in a bottle on the wall
